The Red Horse
This is unique artwork was created utilizing oil pastels and gold paint. The crosshatching technique used involves putting a layer of color underneath a different layer of color, and cutting away to the layer beneath with a penknife. The final image is 18" x 24". The first thumbnail is a detail of the head, while the bottom thumbnail shows the full image. Please click on the thumbnails to enlarge.
